‘Health Tips for the Year Ahead’, created by Live Canon at StudioRCA on Nine Elms Lane in December 2018 – January 2019, is based on a poem by N.J. Hynes, and features medicinal doses of classical poetry and an immersive bath of Emily Dickinson poems, as well as works by contemporary poets.
Greenwich station residency
In August 2014 I became poet-in-residence at Greenwich Rail Station. Three painters were also artists-in-residence, in an opportunity organised by Made in Greenwich Gallery in collaboration with Southeastern, with many thanks to Irena Hill and Sonia Caulson.
Southeastern: A Place for Poetry
At the end of 2015, Southeastern began to print my poem posters and distribute them to other stations on the line. They devised the frame — A Place for Poetry– which is part of their campaign to support arts activities happening in and around stations (“A Place for…”).
The Department of Emotional Projections
In 2013 I won the inaugural Live Canon First Collection competition. My debut collection The Department of Emotional Projections was published in July 2014. It is available through Amazon.co.uk (order from Amazon here). Or order direct from Live Canon.
